Local 1059’s Annual Charity Golf Tournaments Raise $278K for United Way
It was another incredible year on the greens!
The 2025 LiUNA Local 1059 charity golf tournaments in support of United Way Elgin Middlesex raised an amazing $278,000 — funds that will go directly to local agencies helping children and families in our region break the cycle of poverty.
At our tournaments for employers and industry partners, 288 golfers teed off at The Oaks and FireRock golf clubs. Congratulations to the winning teams:
The Oaks: Mark Kinerim, Jason Skinner, James Craig, and Justin McGuire (Hurricane Hydrovac)

FireRock: Jon Ferreira, Vince Caminiti, Craig Thomas, and David Jeannelle (TD Wealth)

The next morning, 144 Local 1059 members hit the links at FireRock. Congratulations to our winners:
Luis Peixoto, Mario Rebelo, Daniel Liberatore, and Anton Mishchenko
