We’re excited to welcome the community to our third annual Trades Awareness Day on Saturday, May 24!

Whether you’re someone who enjoys working with your hands, looking for a new career path, or already have experience in construction and want to explore the benefits of unionized work—this event is for you.

Attendees will enjoy:

• Tours of our state-of-the-art Training Centre
• Hands-on construction activities
• Conversations with certified, highly skilled instructors
• Insights into Red Seal certification and the excellent pay, benefits, and job security that come with membership in LiUNA Local 1059

Our staff will also be on site to answer your questions about the LiUNA Local 1059 Apprenticeship Program—an earn-while-you-learn pathway designed for those new to construction who are eager to start a meaningful career in the trades.

No registration is required—just show up!
Lunch from a local food truck is included for those who complete the full tour.
