This free public open house is open to anyone interested in opportunities in the skilled trades—including newcomers and experienced construction workers looking to connect with LiUNA Local 1059 and explore training and employment pathways.

What To Expect
- Guided tours of our state-of-the-art Training Centre
- Hands-on construction demonstrations across multiple skilled trades
- Opportunities to speak with certified instructors, experienced trades professionals, and Local 1059 staff about union membership and career opportunities
- Information on apprenticeship pathways, Red Seal certification, and the benefits of unionized construction work, including competitive wages, benefits, and pension security
Whether you’re entering the trades for the first time or already working in construction, this is a chance to learn more about training, certification, and unionized employment with LiUNA Local 1059.
Our team will also be on site to answer questions about the Apprenticeship Program—an earn-while-you-learn pathway for those ready to start a career in the skilled trades.
